What’s considered a “starting” salary?

No really, what’s a starting salary for anyone out of a polytechnic, or say, a university?
One of my clients (super-rich guy earning 6-figures monthly) asks me not to work for any company who pays me below $6k a month. I laughed it off… but really - what’s a “proper” starting salary?
maybe at least 2k or 1.5k above?
depends on your luck. really. and how good you are ofcause.
get a good job, from good company, and they like you, you can get 3-4K even thou the average pay for a fresh poly grad is between 1-2K.
You must know how to play your cards, shine limelight on your good points and cover/disguise your weakness. Once your in, if there’s a way to climb up the ladder quickly, or curry flavour your boss, do so~
bah I’m blaberring…
Kelvin you ofcause should get a 6K pay la since its according to yer skills~
But other normal poly people, be happy to get 1 - 2K for now~
