What’s wrong with barebacks?
Like around 8000 to 10000 (or maybe even more) students in RP received this e-mail from our dearest discipline master yesterday (in RP lah, of course).
Can someone please enlighten me why JC students uniform are much more provocative than the assumed “short shirts” mentioned below, and also.. What’s wrong with barebacks and exposed midriffs?
Come on, our fellow students only get to flaunt their figures once. Once in this lifetime. =X
Okay, I’m not saying anything much, but.. Isn’t this exactly what happens in a workplace? Would there be enforcement in a real-world work environment? One of the school’s goals is to simulate a working environment.. but that is getting increasingly.. difficult.
Oh wait… I’m sure there aren’t any staff which……. Uhm, nevermind

Oh funny. Slippers & Sandals without heel straps was not allowed as well? There was a change in dress codes rule? I was having that for the whole time and it was a smooth 3 years, of course.
I think they shouldn’t reinforce such stupid rules. But ohwell, we’re the student. It’s not like we can do anything much. I think girls would be wearing like nuns nowadays.

Exactly, the idea about not being able to wear sandals is stupid. Then what? Everybody wearing shoes?! Crazy. And what? We’re already poly kids,for goodness sake! So much for wanting to treat us like young adults.
i find the rules are redundant. You can catch a handfull but the rest of us are going to be scot free , so who gives a dang about them

I feel that some of their rules are pretty silly.. i am not gonna start wearing shoes just coz my sandals hav no back strap..
I mean come on man.. Individuality ppl!! We aint in sec sch no more.. Cut us some slack alrdy..

HAHA crap rules. don’t tell me they had never wear slippers, wearing barebacks to their school life before? and it’s just clothes. anw, yesterday i saw one faci staring at one of the rp girl’s boobs. HE’S so damn cheeko. now who’s the cheeko in school, even the girl is wearing normal top.:twisted:
I believe barebacks weren’t as fashionable in the 80s :p. Look at the culture now, skimpy this skimpy that, no one’s going to wear anything soon enough. But anyway, these are still dumb rules.
And they (RP) respect the DPDP rule that everyone should respect another person’s perspective and that as society changes so will be the culture so as like those vintage polys and the now modernize poly where everyone is using laptops.
