Yes, yes, I know Jim Carrey once acted in the movie - The Number 23 - whereby he’s obsessed about the number “23″ - and seems to find it all around him, in calculations, in plain sight, and well.. in his dreams.

That movie was WAY freaky, I watched it and got kinda freaked out too. Ask Lafina - she’ll concur. (and she’ll also tell you that I jumped at one of the scenes when suddenly something popped out. Bloody hell, that scene was SO unexpected.. but I can’t remember which scene though =X)

Well, here I am, celebrating Chinese New Year, like every other Chinese student in RP (except perhaps Esther’s - someone who added me randomly a while back, probably to fix a virus or something. Yes, she’s the one with the “Miss Dior Cherie” nick, thingy. I send my condolences. Pfft.) - and.. I’m obsessed with THE NUMBER EIGHT!

No, I don’t mean in a gambling context or whatsoever… but do allow me to illustrate:

Okay, it all started with the Gucci 8 Necklace/Pendant which I ordered somewhere in January from an online store far far away from Singapore (yes, I got it at a *huge* discount, and yes, the scratches are due to Kelvin’s very.. “special” handling methods).

That necklace has some kind of.. thingy in it - it brings me clients, it brings me luck, and wow, alot more, I suppose. But this is just the beginning of… the obsession! *Evil Laughter*

Chinese New Year approached, and as usual, my mum, like every other typical Singaporean auntie, would go to the bank and change “new” notes - for packing in the Red Packets. (You see, in Chinese culture it isn’t exactly nice to give OLD/used bills for “gifts” during CNY)..

..and HWAH! Look at the serial numbers for both bills! The alphabets are different, but the serial numbers are both “166888″ (coincidentally, this was the striking 4D number tonight - one of the prizes, I think). Amazing, huh? - Yes, these bills are going to be framed up by me, and yes, I’m obsessed with keeping lucky things =X

..and, I was fishing around for a nice new handphone number - for my official company business usage - you know - it’s not nice giving your personal line always, because clients might call after midnight, and that’s baddddd.

Oh wait. Notice the last 3 digits. Sheesh.

(Now, how on earth did I manage to get such a beautiful number? - by the way, the rest of the digits are in repetition too, XXYY8888 =X)

Then today, I took my Basic Theory Test, because I wanna get my BMW, which somehow, I’ll have to starve for 3 years and 2.. well.. er, 2 nights - I think. (Unless of course, someone from Performance Motors Limited reads this and decides to give me a big big discount - or sponsor me a 523i!)

Yep, look at the expiry date, and the serial number!
