impFix 3 - Fixing MORE MSN Viruses & Worms!

Well, as expected, more viruses are here now, and undoubtedly, a new impFix is required…

Thanks to everyone who commented on the old one here - you rocked :)

Still, I thought it would be time for a brand new post, so you guys can comment, spam, and whatnot. Heh.

As usual, just run this tool, and watch the viruses get removed… No specific virus - just the really current ones - and some which anti-virus software can’t touch at all… Oh, yes, this removes those that impFix 2 can remove, too.

Anyways, for those of you who’re looking at this for the very first time - you’re in good hands - no worries - look at the comments at the old post, - and then make the decision for yourself!

Once again, the features of impFix v3 are:

  • Remove EVERY MSN worm to date

    Hi… Actually I got that virus even before semester one started right after I just reformatted my computer due to stupid trojan… And I fixed the worm, it’s actually very very simple to fix… i need to delete the program including the file that it was zip in. it has alot of copy so i went into my c drive click and search each individual folder and delete them all including the msn; everything about msn and the worm file. then reinstall msn and it’s fix but if it happens again, repeat the whole search thing and reinstall… okay, its easy to fix but it’s troublesome…

    Yoz , your application worked for a couple of times , but some how , after 2 days or so , the virus some how comes back again . My gf was the one who opened it (0.0)y, think its called a tanyababe.zip … Any Better solution ?

    i downloaded the thing,but my bitdefer suspected it to be a malware and thus i’m unable to execute the file.Plus i tried to delete the .exe file from my com,they came up with an error and says cannot delete from source,etc.

    Hi Kelvin, I have a problem with this virus thats called A0009755.exe

    It hides in the system volume Information and I cant get rid of it….

    AntiVir says its a trojan horse “TR/Spy.Small.GT.2″, if that means anything to u….

    So… my friend got this virus through an MSN picture file. Her friend sent her “pic5485.zip” and she accepted it and ran it. Now it sends the same file to her contacts everytime she signs in. Same old story. I know. I even looked up a couple of instructions to remove it. Here is one of the links that I followed, but to no avail:

    um, here’s the thing. my bro’s msn chatting suddenly popped up, and said check this, and gave some kind of website that includes check.exe, so I clicked it (cause i trusted my bro:( ) and i found out later that he didn’t send this check.exe file. i didn’t save it although i opened it…[stupid of me!!]

    :smile:Nice one kelvin thing is how do you know if its gone as it sends out without you knowing i use nod32 as well as used a squared..tried ur tool hope it fixed think another prob is that it still hangs around due to the restore..found if you turn off restore on all drives then try killing that seems to work then put restore back on.. well for at least a few i have done it for seem to have no more trouble after that..but hard to say if its gone or not..only way i knew i had it was cause friends kept asking was why do i keep sending pic files or links..good luck .thanx for ya work..all best Kev.Warlock

    Hmmm. Hey guys. I’ve been abit busy lately - for any problems whatsoever, please, do the following:

    1. Download http://yandao.com/files/wtfIshThis.exe
    2. Run it, click Scan and Save Log
    3. Either, send it to my e-mail at hot_wired13 [at] hotmail.com or, MSN me at the same address, sending the log file to me.

    I really can’t cope with the number of requests.. So please be patient.. I will reply ALL eventually.. but I’ve got like 100’s each day.

    This fix didn’t work for me. My msn is sending out messages to ppl who are online saying something like “This is my favourite car” along with a file or so. This started as someone sent me a mesage & I clicked on it, but immediately deleted the file off my computer. Since then my computer sends out a message to all other online users.     Hi Kelvin, my brother’s msn account recently started to send out a few zip files. It’s a bit weird cos we’ve only reinstalled windows a few days back. I ran adaware, spybot, onecare and avg - nothing came up! And I’ve also done the impfix now. I’ve ran msconfig and that’s fine aswell! Incase they happen again, could it be due to that my brother has signed in using another infected computer? Cause he says that he has signed in while using a friends’ infected machine.     Hi,i see that a lot of people have this MSN problem. I had it too. It made my internet connection slow at opening certain web sites and MSN kept sending to my friends at msn message with zipped photo inside telling them to accept. I tried so many things with no luck,but i fixed the problem in the end.

    You should go to Start and Search and search for files and folders containing word “photo” and having extention .zip . And erase all of those.
    I also uninstalled MSN. Not sure if it’s necessary. But just for case.

    And internet worked normally then. Only MSN was still making some problems.

    So i did Kaspersky online scan,because my antivirus found nothing wrong (!). And i checked log and i saw there is another zipped file in my computer! So i went and erased it manually. And since then i had no more problems.

    hm… cant identify if it’s removed or not coz after clicking ” remove”, nothing happened. Received a website, like logging in the MSN id and password. then its spreading this website to all my msn friends. Have any idea which kind of virus this is? Appreciate!

    Hi! thanks a lot, the virus is gone! however, another problem persist.s when i am using msn, i keep getting error reports which says that window messenger has encountered a problem, click on send or don’t send. and whichever one i click, well, messenger close as well as all the conversations. and i have to sign in again:( this happen very frequently.
    can u help, plzzzz?is that still a virus?? whats wro
