How to open any lock, (almost)
Pfffft. Finally, I’ve decided to deviate from my usual, uhm, style of writing, since Lafina told me that I’m a bad, bad guy, and that I wouldn’t become an angel in a corner of heaven with her.
So, I decided to talk less about sushi, and rather, more about other interesting things, since my lovely gal also told me that we should go have raw sashimi someday. Today’s agenda, as stated in the topic, would be How to open any lock, (almost)
Well, basically, we use a method called the Bump Key, which involves taking a hammer to a modified (filed down or specially cut) key. Yes, we can open any lock in which the key fits!
Yes, yes, yes. How do we go about that? Lets take a look at the youtube video, heh.
As usual, Kelvin can never resist such fun. Oh, and yes, these stuff was introduced to me by QS, aka Zhenguang (in the shoutbox). So we went together the northern part Singapore to several locksmiths, to see who actually had an electronic key cutter.. Unfortunately, none of them had one, so we had to do manual duplicates, with extra cuts..
The top one is my original key, the bottom is the duplicate.. Notice the "teeth"!
Problem was, I think I hit it a little too hard, because I was distracted by Lafina’s very sweet incoming sms, I think, and oops. My key broke, but still, I managed to turn the lock halfway to unlock it… So its a successful-failed experiment. (and no, I’m not going to tell you what the SMS said =x)
Now, anyone wants to get any lock opened, too?
Oh, and btw, peanut butter is addictive. Stay away from it. I finished a whole jug.
