The player gets played

Posted by Kelvin in Everything

Well, this post will have to be one of the most obscure that only those who know me well enough will probably understand its meaning.. and well, that’s difficult to write.. but still, I can’t resist a challenge. Here goes:

Definition for Dummies - rather, for first time readers and/or noobs:

Red Plate = premium sushi - expensive, but classy.. (like zixin) =x
Usual Plates (yellow, pink, blue, green) = cheapo sushi in buffet. normally $1.99. wth. eat as much as you want.

Okay, it’s been quite a while since I’ve met someone who looks like a good lay, so bear in mind I probably am not in top shape. Argh. Uh huh. So, basically, I’m in an environment which seems all too familiar, and the usual thing happens, me see sushi, sushi see me.

Fortunately (or not), this was a red plate one - meaning, it’s exclusive, expensive, hot, whichever, you want to brand it - up to you. To me, it’s just red plate. Of course, when you see a red plate sushi during a buffet, of course you grab it. Thing was, this sushi seemed seemingly harmless, and well, of course I proceed to try to eat it la. -.-”‘ What logic is this. Sheesh.

I had no idea why, but.. it changed my taste, for 2 nights, totally. The.. errr, taste of it changed me, that is. (*winks winks*). Then, suddenly, it did what I would usually do first, stop eating. What the hell..? Wow. Player gets played. Should have re-read the buaya handbook before going out on my own grounds.

Red plate sushi is back on the belt again. Bros who are reading this, beware, man!

What the hell. If I’m genuinely talking about food here, I be damned. Go figure out the meanings, else, go to Yahooligans! and find some young friends for company. Sheesh.

I’ll let some quote express my thoughts
“Victory goes to the player who makes the next-to-last mistake.”
    - Savielly Grigorievitch Tartakower (1887-1956), Chessmaster

There ain’t no such thing as wrong food, i’m sure every player agrees to this totally
“Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.”
    - Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)
